Unknown Variable

The Founders Series Book 1

In the aftermath of a failed terror attack on the U.S. border, the United States deploys its top counter-terrorism specialists to Mexico. Their objective is clear: track down and destroy the narco-terrorists responsible for threatening America.

The CIA’s mission spirals into crisis when a small team is abducted during a routine surveillance operation. The terrorists have a single goal: teach the United States the meaning of brutality before driving them from Mexican soil.

Out of time and options, the CIA reactivates Jen Yates, a skilled cyber-espionage specialist—and assassin.

Jen is handed a deadly assignment: infiltrate the terrorists’ communications network and use it to pinpoint the hostages’ location. The stakes are high. Any slip-up will trigger reprisals against the hostages, and the terrorists could shut down their network, eliminating any chance of rescue.

But as Jen’s mission in Mexico City intensifies, she uncovers a horrifying truth: the kidnapping was a setup, and she’s the target.

Caught in the crosshairs, Jen Yates is forced to make life-altering decisions for herself, the hostages, and the nation she swore to protect.

In this fast-paced espionage thriller, every second counts—and failure is not an option.
